Fully Plug and Play, this 2.4GHz Wireless LAN Adapter plugs into a Notebook PC offering additional mobility for your portable computers in the home or office. Connecting with any access point or router that runs on the IEEE802.11b wireless standard, this versatile PCMCIA Card has an operating distance of up to 300ft outdoor and 100ft indoor depending on the conditions of operation. GigaFast Ethernet's WE721-AEX can operate with or without an access point and can be upgraded with a PCMCIA-to-PCI Adapter card that fits in standard desktop computers. With up to 128-bit WEP for security, the WE721-AEX ensures secure data transmission without sacrificing performance. The miniature size and high security options of the WE721-AEX make it the best solution for connecting wireless PCMCIA clients.
